It tool just five laps to determine the starting grid for the Mugello Italian Grand Prix, the 8th round of this World Championship. There was uncertain weather throughout the morning with a constant threat of rain. Exactly one minute after the start of the official qualifying it rained.

The hot asphalt held for the first five or six laps and in these the riders staked the grid positions like a roulette wheel. The good thing is that the engines of both the WTR-Ten10 Racing bikes have been good. The riders have expressed satisfaction with the performance of the bike and it is obvious that in this fast track it is necessary for it to deliver a good result.

In any way, Sturla Fagerhaug has got a valuable 18th place on the gird, while Francesco Mauriello has ended the qualifying in 29th position.

# 43 Francesco Mauriello 2:04.632 29th position

Unfortunately the rain caught me by surprise just as I was running in the new piston again. I could not push but is still confident for the race because the engine pushes strongly and if tomorrow will be dry race as we think, I can take advantage of the good set found during practice.

# 50 Sturla Fagerhaug 2:02.483 – 16th position

When I realized the rain I immediately tried to do the time but there was much confusion on the track and I was unlucky. So, starting from the 6th row still is not bad and I am also very happy with the bike that pushes strong. I must thank my mechanics who were able to adjust very well the chassis. I think that tomorrow I will race very well.
