The two qualifying sessions to determine the starting grid for the Aragon Grand Prix of the Spanish Championship that will take place at the Aragon circuit in Alcaniz, have been completed and the two young riders of WTR Ten10 Racing Team – Francesco Mauriello and Sarath Kumar will start from the 17th and the 25th place respectively.

There were some setting problems for Francesco during the practice sessions, but he has found a way of improving his lap time during the second qualifying session. Sarath continues to suffer a complete lack of feeling with the two stroke engine.

The gap of Francesco from his direct competitors is not very much and so, if the weather will be good, we hope to see a good race. The whole team is working to create the best conditions to improve the riders’ skill before the 4th round of the World Championship, next week in Le Mans, France.

FRANCESCO MAURIELLO: lap time 2:05,131

From this morning practice we have improved one second and half. We are now on the right way just with few modifications, in fact this morning I wasn’t able to ride as I like. This afternoon has been much better and the modifications made have worked very well. Tomorrow morning, during the warm-up, we will do a fine tuning and I’m sure that I will improve again my lap time. This race seems very promising for my experience. My feeling with the engine has been very positive today.

SARATH KUMAR: lap time 2:09, 948
